It's (almost) time to book your tickets to run Boston! The Boston or Bust Marathon will be an extremely flat and fast course along Aldridge Creek and Tennessee River in South Huntsville. The course will start and finish at Ditto Landing Marina and is entirely on the Alridge Creek Greenway.
We will have Chip Timing and both half and full marathon courses will be certified.
..And then there's the post race party. We will have post race food for all finishers, 2 drink tickets, post race music, all at the Ditto Landing Marina Pavilion. We believe in training hard, racing hard and celebrating hard and this race will be no different!
Historically the last window to qualify for the following April Boston race is the second weekend in September. This is one of the very few last minute qualifiers in the South. Average Temperatures at this time of year are 64F/ 87F which is why we will start at 6:00AM.
Packet pickup will be on Saturday September 7th, 2024 at Back Forty Brewery from 12-5pm. Back Forty Brewery is located at Address: 3254 Leeman Ferry Rd SW Huntsville, AL 35801. There will be packet pickup race day morning beginning at 5:00am (race starts at 6:00am sharp!) but we HIGHLY recommend you pick up Saturday.
Proceeds go to Hampton Cove Middle School.

Welcome to the Wild Thangs Trail Series! We are excited to introduce a new trail series to the beautiful mountains around Huntsville, AL. This series is designed for both new and experienced trail runners alike. There are 4 races total in the series with both short and long race distances. Starting in June and finishing in August, these 4 races are designed to be competitive, help runners increase their race distances through the hot summer months, and most of all be a ton of fun.

Welcome to the 2024 Cotton Row Run 10K, 5K, and 1 Mile!
For 44 years, the Cotton Row Run has been the premiere Memorial Day running event in the South that honors fallen military members who sacrificed their lives for our freedom! Runners pass through a living memorial flag line that commemorates Fallen Warriors whose family members live in North Alabama. Proceeds from the race benefit Gold Star Families, Snowball Express, Gold Star Moms, and other charities in the community.
The Cotton Row Run is conducted by the Huntsville Track Club.

One of the Southeast's Oldest and largest trails runs, Mountain Mist features a tour of the Monte Sano State Park and the Huntsville Land Trust Trails of North Alabama. Rocky, rough well maintained trails through the State park among rock walls, stone cuts, sink holes and to the very bottom of the mountain. Runners work their way back up through Land Trust trails from Oak Park eventually up the infamous Waterline Trail and finishing up the last 6 miles through the brutal McKay Hollow.
